In 2018, Iceland became the smallest nation to compete in the men´s World Cup finals proving that their ascent to the last eight in the 2016 European Championships was no fluke. But it is not just the men´s national team that is punching above its weight. The women´s national team has been ranked in the top 20 by the FIFA over the last 10 years, whilst the youth age groups team are competing strongly at all levels.

For groups travelling from Asia, Australasia or North America a ‘bucket list’ football experience trip to Berlin can be combined with other destinations in Germany or professional clubs just across the border in Holland or Belgium.
