Scottish Rugby has a rich history. Founded in 1873, ahead of a change to fifteen-a-side (from twenty-a-side) in 1877. Murrayfield Stadium built in 1925, on ground bought from the Edinburgh Polo Club is the home of Scottish Rugby.
Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital rugby club, competing at the forefront of Scottish and European rugby for over 145 years. Oriam is Scotland's National Performance Centre for sport, based at Heriot-Watt University and boasts the largest indoor rugby pitch in Europe.
